- Both the Martin girls and boys varsity bowling teams breezed to victories Monday afternoon at the Rock ’N Bowl Lanes north of Wayland.
- The boys claimed a 28-2 triumph and the girls won 17.5 to 12.5.
- The top three scorers for the boys’ team were Zac Hale 205, Elliot Long 179 and Shane Holden 160.
- The top three for the girls were Lauren Taylor 152, Ellyse Blackburn 144 and Jadelynn Hooper 123.
- “Both teams had the night in the bag before heading into the second round of singles,” said coach Damon Blackburn. “That allowed the opportunity for several players to get some experience at the varsity level tonight.”
