The Martin boys’ hoops squad fell 68-51 Friday evening to Fennville, an SAC opponent.
Down 33 to 26 at the half, Martin watched the Blackhawks widen the gap the rest of the way. Cayden Curry and Michael Morey both racked up 15 points to lead the Clippers. Clayton Geerling chipped in 9.
“Fennville is such a well coached team.”, said first-year varsity coach Brad Moelker, “We knew they would be a handful. Fennville started the game with a little pressure and we really didn’t respond well.”
The 1-5 Clippers will return to their home court on Tuesday when they battle West Michigan Aviation Academy.
