Martin High School senior linebacker Abe Dykstra has been named to the first units of the eight-man football all-state team by the Michigan High School Football Coaches’ Association. Dykstra was a key defensive player in the Clippers’ second straight championship season, which concluded Saturday, Nov. 18, in the Superior Dome at Marquette in a miraculous comeback win, 30-26, over Indian River Inland Lakes. Martin finished the season with a record of 11-2 for the second straight time.
It was was announced today that Clipper standout Makala Goddard was selected honorable mention for the Division 4 all-state volleyball team.
Makala is the 1ST all state volleyball player in Martin history!
