Martin has a date Thursday at Athens High School in the Division 4 regional volleyball finals against St. Joseph Our Lady of the Lake.
The Clippers defeated Marcellus Howardsville Christian in Tuesday’s opening round of the regionals in straight sets, 25-12, 25-10 and 25-17. The victories propelled Martin to an overall season record of 15-6.
Our Lady bested Mendon in three straight sets Tuesday night to hike its record to 23-8-3.
The finals will get under way at Athens at 7 p.m.
First time Martin volleyball has ever made it to regional finals! Only 4 district titles. But 3 of the last 4 years!
