Statistically, Martin’s undefeated season of 2021 may be its most impressive yet.
The Clippers lifted their season record to 9-0 Friday evening with a resounding 55-0 decision over New Buffalo. That means they have scored a whopping 431 points in nine games, an average of more than 39 per contest, while yielding only 38.
It also was their fifth shutout of the campaign, and this time it was accomplished against an opponent that scored more than 80 points in two games. They have lost only twice on the gridiron over the last three years, both to eventual state champions.
Obvious Southwestern Athletic Conference champion Martin now must await news about who its post-season playoff foe will be next week.
Congratulations on an outstanding season!
Good luck in the playoffs!
