Both the Wayland girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball teams lost at East Grand Rapids Friday night.
The boys lost 54-47 and saw their overall record sink to 4-6. The Lady Wildcats fell 53-33 to the Pioneers and their record overall now is 2-8. East GR girls now are 9-2 on the season.
Details were not available.
Both teams will continue O-K Gold Conference play Tuesday evening against Forest Hills Eastern. The boys will be at home and the girls will be away.
