A number of Wayland High School athletes have been named to O-K Gold All-Conference teams at the conclusion of their fall seasons.
Perhaps the most obvious selection was senior golfing whiz Ali Martus, who also was named Class B all-state and finished fifth individuallt at the state meet last month. Teammate Alexis Kirschbaum was chosen for the all-league honorable mention unit.
As reported earlier, senior Perry Carter and junior Jonathan Zuiderveen were picked for the Gold all-league cross-country team.
Freshman Zoe Antel was all-conference in girls’ cross and fellow frosh Payton Sidebotham was honorable mention.
Caleb Boyle, Michael Kelly, Justin Kiry and Gage Stancell represented the Wildcat football team on the all-O-K Gold squad. Chad Stoepker and Tanner VanDyke were presented with honorable mention accolades.
In volleyball, Sydney Ritz, Leigha Morse and Taryn Coughlin made the all-conference group and Lyndie VanMalsen was honorable mention.
