Former Wayland man bowls perfect 300 game, 783 series

Steve Marcus, formerly of Wayland and now of Grand Rapids, bowled a perfect 300 in league play Thursday morning. As a member of Team Brunswick, he threw 12 straight strikes as the anchor in the third and final game of the competition. He also rolled a 258 and 225 for a 783 series. His teammates include Brittany Holt, father Vern Marcus and brother Rickey Marcus, and Andrew Macnci.
