
Wayland High School graduate Emma Ludema has been named to the second unit of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) all-star team.
Ludema, only a freshman, fashioned an 11-3 record on the mound and recorded a 1.72 earned run average. She threw a no-hitter at Kalamazoo College and a one-hitter at Albion.
She was a prep star under the guidance of Cheri Ritz at Wayland High School, earning all-state Division 2 honors and picthing all four years of her high school career.
