Former Wildcat all-stater Ali Getty leads Northwood in sweep

Allison Getty, a 2014 graduate of Wayland High School, had 13 kills and three serving aces Friday in Northwood University’s three-set victory over Lake Erie to push its record to 5-1 overall. Getty, an all-state Division 2 Wildcat on the state semifinalist team in the fall of 2013, is a sophomore outside hitter  at Northwood and the daughter of Mike and Kim Getty of Wayland.
