Former Wildcat gridder Quentin Sweeney is 2nd team All-MIAA

Former Wayland High School football standout Quentin Sweeney has been named to the second team of the All-MIAA football squad.

Sweeney, a 2014 graduate of Wayland High School, is a sophomore linebacker at Kalamazoo College.

Sweeney recorded the second-most tackles on the team (66) and recorded the second-most interceptions on the team (3). He played in all ten games for the Hornets, recorded 3.5 tackles for a loss and also had one pass breakup.

At Wayland, he was an all-state linebacker on defense and a tight end on offense.
