Wayland High School graduate Molly Lameyer has added yet another honor to her personal trophy case.
Lameyer, a senior at Davenport University, has been named to the Midwest all-region team by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
Lameyer, a Wildcat standout in basketball and volleyball who graduated in 2012, earned the accolades after her senior season that saw her compile a .322 hitting percentage and 445 kills.
She finished second in the Wolverine-Hoosier Conference in hitting percentage and third in total kills in 40 matches played. Lameyer led the team with 3.11 kills per set while also finishing fourth on the team with 73 blocks.
Not surprisingly, she was selected to the first unit of the All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference volleyball team earlier this year and was named to the WHAC All-Academic team.
