Former Wildcat volleyball star Allison Getty led Northwood in kills

Wayland High School graduate Allison Getty was the top scorer in kills for the Northwood University volleyball team this past fall. Getty, a sophomore outside hitter, was an all-state selection for Wayland as a senior two years ago when the Wildcats made it all the way to the Division 2 semifinals before losing to eventual state champion Pontiac Notre Dame Academy. She also was a three-year member of the Wildcat basketball team. Northwood finished the season with a 12-17 overall record, competing in the Great Lake Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
