Wayland High School three-sport standout Harmony Laker has decided to continue her academic and athletic career next fall at Cedarvlle University (Ohio).
The daughter of WHS volleyball coach Kara Laker and assistant girls’ basketball coach Lance Laker, she has chosen to play basketball for the Yellowjackets, who compete at the NCAA Division 2 level.
Laker enjoyed the unusual distinction of earning all-conference honors in basketball as freshman. She has earned similar honors as a pitcher in softball and in volleyball, but her greatest accolades has some in hoops.The 6-1 senior point guard and power forward has been recognized at the state level as well.
