Both the Hopkins boys’ and girls’ varsity bowling teams defeated Wyoming Lee Wednesday afternoon at Brewhouse Lanes in Dorr.

The boys are undefeated in dual matches this season and the girls have lost only once.

The Viking boys began the competition by winning both Baker games 225-208 and 153-130. They were able to win three points in the first individual, but lost total pins.

Hopkins stepped it up in the second individual game by taking four points and total. Winning the match 23-7. High scores for the boys were Jonathon Ryan 214, Brenden Gossman 212 and 197, Josh Glascott 196.

The girls dominated their whole match. They won both Bakers then all but one point from both individuals, winning their match 29-1.

High scores for the girls were Hannah Wubben 186 and 184, Jenna Mohr 180.

Both teams are scheduled to bowl again Thursday at Brewhouse Lanes in a rescheduled match against Godwin.
