It was a good way to end the regular season Friday night, as the Hopkins boys’ varsity basketball squad took down Grandville Calvin Christian 61-48.
The Vikings went out in style with a 3-11 O-K Silver Conference record and 7-15 overall. Six of their defeats were by three points or fewer.
Calvin Christian finished its Silver campaign at 7-7 and 9-13 overall.
The Lady Vikings, meanwhile, dropped a 41-31 decision to a Calvin Christian team that started the night tied for first place with NorthPointe Christian in the league standings with a record of 11-1.
The loss dropped Hopkins’ league record to 7-7 and their overall record now is 8-12.
