The Hopkins girls’ basketball team lost 64-45 to Wyoming Godwin Heights Friday night to see its overall season record slide to 1-10.

Home-standing Godwin got off to a good start, taking leads of 16-9 and 31-20 at the first two period stops. The Vikings made things more interesting in the third quarter by getting to within nine, 45-36, after three, but the Wolverines pulled away in the last eight minutes.

Madison Kerber scored 10 points to lead Hopkins and Allie DeBoer added nine and Baylee Roys eight.

Keiara Lipscomb netted 22 points for Godwin.Viking Logo2
