Hopkins grad throws trick play TD in Concordia win

Hopkins High School graduate Nolan Smith tossed a trick play 3-yard touchdown pass Saturday to highlight Concordia University’s 28-21 victory over Indiana Wesleyan. The fifth ranked Cardinals out of Ann Arbor probably noted that Smith was a quarterback as a prep star for the Vikings. Smith, a Concordia junior, was playing fullback when threw the trick pass near the end of the first quarter.
