Hopkins High School graduate Brenden Gossman finished fifth individually in the Wolverine-Hoosier Conference bowling event Saturday at 5 Star Lanes in Sterling Heights.
Gossman rolled a 714 series, with games of 234, 246 and 234. His team, Concordia, finished second, as host Lawrence Tech took top honors.
Gossman was a Division 3 all-state bowler for Hopkins during his prep career and he rolled a perfect 300 game.
