The boys’ varsity basketball seasons for Hopkins and Martin came to an end Monday evening the opening round of the district basketball tournament.
Hopkins dropped a 64-57 verdict to host Hastings in Division 2, to complete its overall season with a 7-16 record. Wayland will play Hamilton at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in the semifinal round.
Martin fell 60-33 to host Gobles in the first round of the Division 4. The Clippers finished the season with a record of 1-22.
