The Hopkins boys’ basketball team registered its 10th win of the season with a 67-56 triumph Monday evening in the opening round of the Class B district basketball tournament at South Haven.
The Vikings, with the victory, move to 10-11 overall and will face Paw Paw (12-8) in the district semifinals at 7 p.m. Wednesday evening. Tourney favorite Otsego beat South Haven 53-42 Monday night to advance to the other semifinal game against winless Allegan.
It was the second time this season Hopkins has beaten the Trojans on the hardcourt.
