The community of Hopkins will honor the most successful volleyball coach in its history at 5 p.m. this afternoon at Russo’s downtown, where Terri Merren Wisser will be guest of honor several months after her retirement. She guided the Lady Vikings to their first-ever conference and district championships and concluded her last season by annexing yet another O-K Silver crown. She is shown here with her husband and her daughter, Corrie, who will play the sport next fall at Ferris State University, which many believe was one of the reasons why the legendary coached stepped aside.
