The Hopkins varsity girls’ basketball team earned Academic All-State Honors from the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM). Senior Lia VanderVeen also received the Outstanding Senior Student-Athlete Award. This award is given to seniors who achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.8 or above while at the same time playing four years of high school basketball.
