Hopkins will play Benton Harbor in the final round Thursday evening of the Division 4 regional basketball tournament and the Tigers (16-2) will be the host team.
The Vikings earned a shot a regional title Tuesday by getting past Parchment 51-45 in the semifinals. Senior point guard Colin Weber sealed the deal with four free throws in two one-and-one situations. He finished the game with 37 points.
The Vikings trailed 22-17 at the half and they remained down in the early stages of the fourth period.
The victory lifted Hopkins to an 11-7 overall record. The squad now has won all four of its post-season encounters, by one over Otsego, by two over Wayland, by six over Parchment and by nine over Hastings.
Parchment finished its season with an overall record of 11-4.
