The Allegan Invitational track meet had to be cut short Friday evening because of torrential rains. There were only a few events that were completed.
Sixteen teams were in the field, including Hopkins, Allegan, Wayland, Berrien Springs, Buchanan, Delton Kellogg, Kalamazoo Hackett, Lake Odessa Lakewood, Middleville Thornapple Kellogg, Otsego, Parchment, Plainwell, Paw Paw, Gull Lake, St. Joseph and Vicksburg.
Senior ace Wayland sprinter Ian Thompson remained undefeated this season in the 100-meter dash, checking in with a time of 11.07 seconds.
Wildcat sophomore Kaharrie Pureifoy finished third in the 200 with a time of 23.89 seconds. Sophomore Austin Graham took third in the 110-meter hurdles.
Hopkins freshman Kambria Moored took a more than respectable fifth in the 100-meter hurdles. Brenna Hyde of Wayland placed seventh.
