J. R. Hildebrand was the only member of the Martin High School track team who scored in the Division 4 state meet Saturday at Baldwin Middle School.
Hildebrand placed fourth in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles with a time of 42.10 seconds. Teammate James Blackburn was 19th in that event, in 44.78.
Hildebrand also was 16th in the 110-meter high hurdles in 16.75 seconds.
James Blackburn, Sam Jager, Gavin Meers and Tagen Harris finished 15th in the 1600-meter relay, 3:42.43.
Lynsey Jager took 12th in the discus, 101-8.
Teams and individuals must finish among the top eight places in order to score. Martin finished with five points, tied for 32nd place.
