Jalen Kisner intends to play football at Northwood University

Jalen Kisner, offensive and defensive Jalen Kisnerlineman for the Hopkins Vikings football team, Wednesday took part in the West Michigan Signing Day by declaring his intention to play football and study business at Northwood University. Northwood, an NCAA Division II school, is a member of the Great Lakers Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), which includes Grand Valley. The Timberwolves’ roster includes offensive lineman Ryan Modreske, a 2013 graduate of Hopkins High School.

His high school coach, Cody Francis, said, “One of the perks to coaching is seeing kids that played for your community get the chance to play at the next level. It’s a very gratifying to be a small part of their hard work and they’re going on to do something they love.  I know Jalen will go on to do great things as a student and athlete at Northwood. The coaching staff and I wish him the best and are extreme proud of him.
