The Wayland High School girls’ varsity golf team completed the 2020 season by finishing tied for fourth place with Grand Rapids Catholic Central in the O-K Gold Conference standings.

Team members included three juniors, Alaina Tobin, Ali Oddy and Emily Drew, and three seniors, Jordan Keena, Paige Keena and Rylee VandenBerg. Each player took turns having the best round of the day during dual meets and invitationals.

Alaina Tobin received honorable mention all-conference accolades and will finish the year among the top 25 individual averages of all time at Wayland.

The future is promising, as the junior varsity squad went undefeated in 12 dual matches this fall.

The varsity team will try to qualify for the state finals Tuesday at Diamond Springs.
