The Martin girls basketball team
picked up its 11th win of the season Friday with a solid 45-25 victory over visiting Bloomingdale. The Cardinal Ladies fell to 3-12 on the season.
The Clippers ran out to a 6-0 lead in the first two minutes of the game and never looked back. They led 15-4 after eight minutes.
It was 24-8 at the half and Bloomingdale did not reach double figures until 5:31 left in the third quarter. It was 36-15 after three periods.
Jazmin Hildebrand led all scorers with 15 points and teammate Cassidy Beasley added 13. Bloomingdale’s highest scorer was Jordann McNees with eight.
