The Martin girls’ varsity basketball team remained unbeaten Tuesday night after beating Delton 35-31.
The Lady Clippers, now 4-0 on the season overall, were up 19-8 at halftime.
“In the fourth quarter, Delton upped the pressure with their trapping press and we committed turnovers that led to easy points for them,” explained coach Ben Schipper. “In the end we held on for a tough win.”
Jaclyn Hildebrand led Martin with 11 points. Kiaya Warner and Faith Guritz both had seven points.
Delton fell to 3-2 overall with the defeat.
