The Hopkins varsity softball team claimed its fifth consecutive victory with a 12-0 verdict in five innings over O-K Silver Conference opponent NorthPointe Christian.
The Lady Vikings racked up 13 hits. Junior Madelyn Schans pitched a one-hit shutout and helped her own cause by going 3-for-3 offensively, including a homer in the first inning.
Hopkins now is 6-2 in the conference and overall.
