The Hopkins varsity softball team completed a three-game series against O-K Silver Conference rival Wyoming Lee with a 16-1 victory in three innings Wednesday.
Maddie Schans threw two innings, gave up a hit and struck out two batters. Kelsey Dusseau gave up three hits, hit a batter and struck out two in her inning of relief work.
Logan Brummel had a double. Schans hit a double and a home run with two runs batted in. Caitlyn Rodanhisler had two doubles and Bluhm had a double.
The Lady Vikings are 10-3 overall, not counting the results of last weekend’s Allendale Invitational.
They are scheduled to play today at Zeeland East and then take part in the two-day Lowell Invitational Friday and Saturday.
