The Hopkins girls’ track team’s impressive early season successes continued Friday with a first-lace finish in the 46th annual Watervliet Relays.
Though the Lady Vikings won only three of the events, their depth carried the day with 94 points in the 12-team competition. The boys’ squad captured fourth place with 32 points among the dozen teams.
The tournament title followed impressive dual meet victories earlier this month against Wyoming Lee and Belding in O-K Silver Conference matchups.
