The strange season for the Hopkins girls’ varsity basketball squad continues.
The Lady Vikings Tuesday copped their third consecutive victory to even their record at 4-4 by running past Tri-Unity Christian, 60-31. They continued their pattern of winning by blowouts, as all four trimphs have been by 25 points or more.
Hopkins wasted little time in establishing control of this one, taking a first quarter lead of 13-5 and be
ing up 26-11 at the half. The Lady Vikings were enjoying a 43-20 cushion to start the final eight minutes.
Senior forward Mikayla Bulich collected 19 points to pace the offensive attack. Guard Kennedy Helderop added 11 points and pivot Meghan Schulz had 10.
Tri Unity was led by Elasia Craly with 15 points.
The Lady Vikings will be at home Friday at 6 p.m. to face O-K Silver Conference opponent Wyoming Godwin Heights.
