Lady Vikings improve to 15-9 with twin bill sweep of Lee

The Hopkins varsity softball team swept a doubleheader with O-K Silver Conference opponent Wyoming Lee Monday, taking game one 15-0 in four innings and again shutting out the Rebels in the nightcap, 7-0.

Morgan Fifelski threw all four innings in the opener. She gave up two hits, walked two and struck out two.
Lexi Merren had a double and a single, Makayla Bulich had three singles, and Fifelski had a double and a home run with four runs batted in.

Kelsey Dusseau threw the first five innings in the nightcap and gave up two hits, a walk and a hot batter and struck out three. Fifelski pitched one inning in relief.
Merren again paced the offensive attack with a double and two RBIs.

The twin bill sweep lifted the Lady Vikings’ overall season record to 15-9. Their league record is 10-3.
