The Hopkins varsity volleyball team lifted its O-K Silver dual match record to 4-0 Thursday evening by sweeping Sparta in three matches.
The Lady Vikes traveled to Sparta on Thursday (9/29) and came away with a victory. “The played well and we received contributions from many players,” said coach Terri Wisser. The scores of the match were 25-17, 25-18, and 25-14.
Individual statistical leaders were:
• Kills – Kate Cleypool 11, Mady Weber 9, Corrie Wisser 7, Peyton Roxbury 4, Lyla Reynolds 2, Lilly Iciek/Alison Williams 1.
• Assists – Corrie Wisser 24.
• Aces – Corrie Wisser/Lilly Iciek 3, Mady Weber 2, Ellie Sebright/Kylee Sykes/Kate Cleypool 1.
• Blocks – Corrie Wisser 3, Lilly Iciek 2, Lyla Reynolds/Kate Cleypool 1.
• Digs – Corrie Wisser 13, Mady Weber 10, Ellie Sebright 9, Kate Cleypool 7, Lilly VandenBosch 2, Ava VanderVeen/Kylee Sykes/Alison Williams 1.
The Lady Vikings improved to 16-6-4 overall.
