The Hopkins varsity volleyball team Thursday lost a tough five-set match to North Pointe Christian, 3-2.
The loss dropped the Lady Vikings to 1-1 in the O-K Silver Conference and 11-8-2 overall.
Northpointe prevailed 25-22, 20-25, 22-25, 25-14 and 15-6. The Lady Vikings had the Mustangs down two sets to one, but couldn’t put them away.
Statistically, Logan Brummel delivered 32 assists; Brianna Miller had 14 kills, Meghan Schulz 12, and Brummel 8; Schulz and Mikayla Bulich 2 blocks apiece; Brummel 4 serving aces, and Hailey Shank came up with 23 digs, Brummel had 21 and Bulich 9.
