The Hopkins girls’ varsity baske
tball team registered its second triumph of the season Friday night at home with a 55-47 victory over Berrien Springs.
The Lady Vikings, now 2-6 on the season overall, were blessed with balanced scoring. They got 13 points from Keelan Kilbane and eight each from Maddie Krcatovich, Mikayla Bulich, Kristi Lenard and Caitlin Rodanheisler.
Hopkins took a 15-12 advantage in the first quarter, was up 28-24 at the half and led 38-33 after three stanzas.

Last night was their second win. The girls had a great come from behind game against Allendale before Christmas.
