The Hopkins girls’ soccer team opened its O-K Silver Conference season Wednesday with a 1-1 tie against perennial power Grandville Calvin Christian.

Both teams scored one goal in the first half and played a scoreless second half.

Keelan Kilbane scored the Lady Vikings’ goal with an assist from D’anna Tuinstra. Tiffany Barks came up with 10 saves in goal.

Hopkins now has a 2-2-1 overall season record.
