Both the Hopkins boys’ and girls’ bowling teams took part in the Christmas Baker Tournament Wednesday at Park Center Bowling in Wyoming.

The boys ended up sixth overall, while the girls were fifth, missing the cut by seven pins.

They bowled in the Cardinal Invite Thursday at Northway Lanes in Muskegon. The boys qualified first going into Baker elimination and ended up third overall.

The girls qualified third going into Baker elimination and captured first in the tournament. Kennedy Gill took fifth on the girls All-Tournament Team. Jonathon Ryan took third and Brenden Gossman second on the boys All-Tournament Team. Gossman also had highest game of the tournament with a 259.

The Vikings are off Friday then head to Continental Lanes in Kalamazoo Saturday for the Portage Individual Invitational. (Photo supplied)
