The Wayland girls’ varsity golf squad lost a non-conference dual match Wednesday to Byron Center, 177-192.
The Lady Wildcats had four scores in the 40s last night, but it wasn’t enough to beat a very good Byron Center team.
Wayland was led by junior Marisa Schild with a 47 followed by Alexis Kirschbaum and Hunter Fenton with 48, and finally Lauren Drew with a 49.
