The Wayland girls’ golf team played very well at the Yankee Springs course Friday, Aug. 25, taking home the runner-up trophy at the TK Invitational.
Wayland shot a team score of 398. Finishing first in the seven-team field was Hastings with a 386 and third was Byron Center with 399.
Wayland was led by junior Lauren Drew with a 94, senior Marisa Schild with 96, junior Abby Omness with 99 and junior Grace Dollarhide with a 109.
