The Wayland varsity softball team Monday continued its recent winning ways by taking both ends of a nonleague twin bill against Wyoming.
The Lady Wildcats won the first game in a 15-7 slugfest and shut out the Wolves 6-0 in the nightcap. Fresh from capturing their 13th straight O-K Gold Conference title, they were runners-up in the Ann Arbor Invitational Tournament Friday and Saturday.
Wayland now has a 21-9 overall record.
