The Wayland girls’ varsity tennis team lost a 4-3 squeaker to Middleville Thornapple Kellogg Monday afternoon in an O-K Gold Conference dual match.

Coach Rick Brown mentioned the efforts of players Alina Tobin, Presley Oatmen, Emily Drew, Morgan Dryer and Ashleigh Graham.

The Lady Wildcats now are 1-4 on the season overall and 0-2 in league play .
