The Wayland girls’ tennis team had its overall season record evened at 2-2 by a 6-2 loss Monday to Middleville Thornapple Kellogg.

The Lady Wildcats managed only to win at No. 1 singles and No. 4 singles.

Foreign exchange student Elena Campon won her match at fourth singles 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 and Noelle Oman won 7-5, 7-5 before scooting to the Wayland Board of Education meeting as student representative.

The Lady Wildcats are 0-2 in O-K Gold Conference action this season.
