Wayland evened its overall season record at 4-4 and improved its O-K Gold Conference record to 2-3 with an 8-0 soccer victory Friday over Wyoming.

The Lady Wildcats scored all eight goals before halftime, according to coach Ben Sleeman.

McKenna Bruin came u p with a hat trick, Amanda Brown added two and Hannah Henney, Kennedy Thelen and Audrey Lepper scored one apiece.
Thelen recorded three assists, Henney dished out two and Payton Sidebotham, Bruin and Amber O’Connell each had one.

Keeper Lilly Bolliger enjoyed a quiet day of work, making one save in goal and posting her third season shutout and her third of her career.

The Wildcat girls are back in action Monday night as hosts to conference leaders South Christian with kickoff is 6:45 p.m.
