The Martin-Climax Scotts wrestling team finished fourth in the Allendale Falcon Invitational Saturday and Wayland took eighth.
Stevenville Lakeshore won the competition with 179.5 points, 15 more than runner-up Hamilton. Martin/Climax Scotts accumulated 127 points and Wayland 91 in the field, which featured 14 teams.
Earning places for Martin were Logan Gilbert, first at 113 lbs.; Haylen Buell second at 132; Jack Bagwell, third, 150; Sam Bleeker, third ,215; Cole Reitz, fifth, 126; Malcolm Smith fifth at 175; Kristian Heighton, sixth, 120, and Max Bleeker 6th at 285 lbs.
Wayland placers include Lane Button, first at 150 lbs; Rex Emory, fourth, 126; Trent Sikkema fourth, 190; Jody Bitner, sixth, 106; Ryan Kious, sixth,113, and Danny Keena sixth at 138 lbs.
