The Martin boys’ varsity basketball team improved its season record to 6-7 Tuesday evening with a 48-39 triumph at Hartford.
The Clippers had to overcome a slow start, trailing 15-9 at the end of the first quarter, and they knotted the count at 25 at intermission. They used a 13-5 run in the third period to take control.
Junior guard Garrett Dill scored 13 points for Martin and sophomore Tanner Curry had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
The Clippers now are 3-3 in the North Division of the Southwest Athletic Conference.
