The Martin-Delton combined golf team last weekend finished 18th in the Division 3 state meet at the Katke golf course at Ferris State University. Coach Jim Hogoboom reported seniors Alejandro Guevara, Damian LaFountaine, Tanner Janowski, Drew Ketola, and Dominik Waase will be missed next year. Tanner Janowski posted the low round of the weekend for the Panthers shooting 85 on the final day. Wayland Union finished fifth Saturday in Division 2 with a two-day team score of 647. Tyler Omness carded a 76 – 80 – 156, Carson Sevigny – 80 – 81 – 161, Rory Myers – 81 – 83 – 164, Zeb Veltman – 96 – 80 – 176, and Rory Bessinger – 86 – 91 – 177.
