The Martin varsity girls’ bowling team blanked Saugatuck 30-0 Wednesday at the Rock ’N Bowl in Wayland, but the boys lost 18-12.
Top three scorers for the Lady Clippers were Jadelynn Hooper 167, Zenaida Lemus 157 and Ellyse Blackburn 155.
Top three guys bowlers were Shane Holden 180, James Gruber 122 and Annelise McCarty 119
It was a successful season home-opener and the girls put up their best Bakers series this year. The boys just missed their first win, but did manage to knock down overall pin count.
